Spiro needs to address the issue of faulty batteries being supplied at swap stations. I swapped a battery that showed sufficient charge, but while riding on the Northern Bypass, it suddenly dropped to 0% and shut down. This put my life at serious risk. In addition to the danger, I was forced to leave my bike unattended to while, while searching for the nearest swap station, simply because I had no other option. This is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of responsibility toward rider safety.

Sprio is a good bike but the human resource who is employing girls who can’t even lift a battery has made the company go crap, we reach at the station and they can’t attend to us for example in Kasangati , girl with long nails and can even hide ,keep battery for people who are not around .Mocco is using self service machine so we might resort to Mocco

I was not happy with the purchase process. This is because i bought the 400M2 bike with full amount upfront, however this process started from 10:00 upto 17:30. I mean, Waiting for 7 hours just to get a bike was really so long. What’s so annoying is that i got to know at the last minute that the bike was being transported from kololo to the showroom, and yet no one even told me about that. The bike is so nice, it does whatever i expect it to do however i encourage the team to improve the purchase process especially for customers who buy the bike with full amount upfront.

Cost of the bike? Upfront Range between UGX 6-8M/ Financing is supported depending on the contract signed. How to Charge/Swap a battery? Spiro has a network of swap stations along major roads and suburbs in Kampala. You can also swap a battery using the automated Smart Swap stations or the option of charging the battery from home. 🏡 Cost of Swapping a Battery: The cost is less than UGX9000 for a fully charged battery. What is the battery range? The full battery can take you from 75Km to 80Km depending on the load and speed.
