I went for a solo date and had a good time here. The ambiance was calm, and inviting with its stylish decor and soft lighting. The background music was just at the right volume and complimented the setting. The cozy seating arrangements, stylish decor and attentive staff enhance the overall dining experience. The food was great; I had the braised pork chops which come with a side of both rice and fries. The pork chops were tender and juicy with a nice sauce that blended everything together. The rice was well cooked which went well with the pork chops and the fries were nice and soft on the inside however they were a bit burnt. I also ordered some seared beef sushi i which surprisingly like😅. Overall the food was good and left me satisfied. I also ordered some sake which they served in a Masu cup. It was a bit expensive but worth the experience The owner( I think) also gave me a picture book about Sake which broadened my knowledge of how it's drank and the etiquette to follow while drinking it. The prices for sushi are bit on the expensive side but the rest of the food is not too expensive and is affordable. I really had a great time here, its perfect for a solo date, lunch date, romantic dinner date, or just chilling with friends. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

The service is amazing! 20 out of 10! The atmosphere is incredible especially if you'd like to take someone out on a date or just want to work and sit with your thoughts. I am honestly not usually the biggest fan of seafood but these guys turned my head a bit 😂 Love love loved!

The food is always of excellent quality. The service is excellent and they support you through the orders if you need to ask about some of the orders. Authentic Japanese cuisine with organically grown food , supplied farm to table.

Very nice restaurant, little waiting time. Their miso soup with fried tofu, karage chicken and pork ramen was amazing! I only wish they had karage chicken as a starter option also. For the service, the staff were very friendly and attentive but one of our waitresses had a strong body odour. Not to penalize her, but I hope Yamasen trains their staff on the importance of hygiene and provides the means to enforce this.nI also recommend Yamasen invests in printing & laminating new menus, the ones they have are really old and feel unhygienic to touch. But the hot towel after ordering was a great addition.nOtherwise great experience and can’t wait to visit again!
