If you want an authentic Ugandan culinary experience - this is the place to be! It is located in Nakasero. Quite packed during lunch hours! It is a popular joint for most of the working class locals. Food was tasty and the portions were really large! I would have to starve for 2 days for me to finish the servings.😅😅 particularly loved the beef in groundnut sauce luwombo. 😋 Service was great. 💯 Conveniently located!

Had lunch with family. It was my first time eating here. The place is lovely and the staff welcoming. The food was very nice and service was excellent. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very impressed with the layout and privacy in the garden seating. It was our first time trying Lowombo. It was plenty and well prepared only would be good if server brings what is requested from side choices and fills the plate instead of wasting food with unrequested items. Overall great local dining experience!

If you really love local food and you like a serene place to eat from this is it. Food prices are a little higher than usual so go well equipped.

Tasty local food from all parts of Uganda, the prices are not bad, the staff are smart, polite but friendly. Ample parking space. Service is quick. A must visit for those that like local food
