The worst bus experience I’ve ever had! It all started with a frustrating two-hour wait in Kampala past the scheduled departure time—only to find out later that the bus was being repaired at a garage. Midway through the journey, a tire burst, leaving us stranded on the road for four hours. Thankfully, it wasn’t worse, but the total delay added up to six hours. When we finally reached Nairobi at 6:30 PM, we were informed that we weren’t booked on the next bus to Dar es Salaam, scheduled to depart at 7:00 PM. This was due to poor coordination between the Kampala and Nairobi teams. Kudos to the Nairobi staff member, who remained calm and helped us secure seats on a different company’s bus the following morning. The Kampala team, however, desperately needs to improve their customer service and time management. What should have been a one-day trip turned into a two-day ordeal. One star, and that’s only for getting us to Nairobi

This is the worst bus you can use. Travelled from Uganda to Dar es salaam but the bus died at lest 4times. During those stops we would spend atleast 2 hours waiting. The laguage is packed in the corridors so no pathway. The bus is dirty and poorly kept. No cuwtomer care at all.. i guess there workers are unmotivated. Spent about 47hours on the road. I wouldnt advise anyone to use this bus.

Classic Bus gave me my worst experience of travel. The bus was congested. There were mechanical issues. The bus got a problem at 2:48am at Kyotera, from then on till 7pm we were sitting at the roadside waiting. The bus is in very bad condition and need to be put off the road. My experience was not truly terrible!!!

Complaint about SR Classic Coach 🚨 On 26th July 2023, I booked SR classic coach from Kampala to Nairobi Via Malaba route. I specifically asked about the departure time and route since I had a family member getting off at Malaba. I was assured that the bus would leave at 3:00 pm, and I should report by 2:30 pm. I booked 6 seats and arrived with my kids at 2:30 pm as instructed. However, to my dismay, the bus had a mechanical issue, and we were left waiting until 4:50 pm. When the bus finally departed, at around 10 pm, I noticed that we were heading towards Bussia, not Malaba as promised. They blatantly lied to me about the route. We went through migration checks and waited for the bus to clear the checks too. During this time, we got off to have a short break, but the bus left without us, including my kids! It was shocking and horrifying to be abandoned at the stage. To reach the bus at the checkpoint, which was around 2 km away, we had to take 4 biki biki rides, putting my children at risk. The misinformation, the lies, and the lack of customer care and humanity displayed by SR Classic Coaches is unacceptable. I urge everyone to reconsider booking with SR Classic Coaches as they are clearly irresponsible and fail to prioritize the safety and well-being of their passengers. #TakeCare #SRClassicCoaches #CustomerCareFail

On 19 August we were booked into SR Classic bus travelling from Dares Salaam to kampala. At Mombo the bus had a mechanical problem & we spent 2 hours rectify it. After that we travelled to Nairobi arrivng at 11.00am Only to Discover that the bus to Kampala had left us. They than put us in an old, dirty & a DMC, Modern Coast bus. We were bundled up with luggage that was packed in the aisle. The bus broke down twice & we're delayed further as management of modern coast didn't want to release any funds to repair the bus. We demanded either to get us better means of transport or a refund to enable us complete the journey. Our requests fell on deaf ears. In desperation we had to spend more money to get on a taxi to complete the journey otherwise we were going to spend another night in this dump. My issue is: 1) SR we're aware of the delay why didn't they hire a decent taxi to drop us to kampala? 2) Why should passengers who pay a high fare be subjected to these desirable conditions: no lunch, nowhere to rest, rude staff with no communication skills or customer care. 3) How can the traffic department both in Kenya & Kampala allow such a DMC travel on our roads? This is taking no account of the risks of human life. I would NEVER advise or encourage anyone to use this bus ever.
