My friends and I had an amazing time at Mezo. The service was a bit slow but it’s understandable as we went in on a busy night but the waitress was amazing. The Dj had us dancing all night and their pizza was delicious. Definitely recommend

Overall the place is great, music is awesome, and it is serene with the atmosphere. If you want to sit in a great spot, reserve a spot as early as possible or get there early. The main bar gets crowded so early and you get to sit at the lower level. However, if you are looking at a place with lots of fun and interesting, I wouldn’t recommend this. It was really good in 2023 but not anymore…It now has heavy competitors for a weekend getaway.

I had a birthday dinner on a Sunday evening at mezo. This place has amazing service, very beautiful and welcoming staff members. We loooooved the food 😋 and concluded that the chef makes this food with a happy soul. Credit goes to the proprietors of Mezo Noir because they have done a wonderful job! FYI, the atmosphere is so calm that if you're a loud mouth, it would be uncomfortable in designated areas. We renamed it to Mezo mwah😘 (a brief explanation for the second pic)

The restaurant is located in a secluded part of the area. Parking for approximately 10 cars. The kitchen is separated from the main restaurant hall. The interior is quite rich, with beautiful plates and cutlery. I really liked the signature cocktails. With food, everything is not so clear: the hummus was too thick and did not have a delicate consistency. But the biggest problems were with the steak. The steak (UGX 105,000) was large, but had a ton of veins, was horribly over-salted and was well-done instead of being medium as I have ordered. It is inappropriate to serve such a spoiled dish in an establishment of this level. The burger from the kids menu was tough too. In general, it is fashionable to recommend a restaurant for a romantic dinner, but it is not a guarantee that you will like all the dishes.

We came here on a Friday night around 8:30 pm and we were able to get a table at the bar without reservations. The restaurant also had open tables. Service was better than any other place I have been in Kampala and the food was extremely good. The best part was the atmosphere, it’s a real enjoyable place.
