I chose Enchanted for the daily guided tour to the crater lakes and waterfalls, and the entire experience was fantastic. Joshua was an excellent tour guide—professional, friendly, and knowledgeable—and we truly had a wonderful time. If you’re in Fort Portal, I highly recommend booking this tour!

I had an incredible 6-day tour in Uganda. The itinerary was well planned and allowed me to experience so much of the country’s beauty — from wildlife safaris to stunning landscapes and rich cultural experiences. Every day felt exciting and special.

A big shout out to my tour guide and driver, Vincent! He spoke very well English and always checked in to make sure I was ok. His great sense of humor made the trip fun, while his deep knowledge of wildlife, nature and culture added so much depth to my visit.

Uganda itself is breathtaking — the wildlife, the green scenery, and most of all, the warm and welcoming people. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Uganda! You won’t be disappointed!

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Bosco, who made our trip truly unforgettable. Every single day and every activity was absolutely breathtaking.

Our adventure began in the Kibale Forest with chimpanzee tracking, where we experienced these amazing animals up close – something we’ll never forget. Afterwards, we did a community walk in Bigodi. We didn’t really know what to expect, but it turned out to be such a special experience. We met wonderful people who shared their daily lives with us – something I can only recommend to everyone if you get the chance!

The safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park was incredible. From elephants to lions, zebras, and hippos – we saw it all, surrounded by the endless beauty of nature. Simply stunning!

Then came the long-awaited highlight – the mountain gorillas. We were so lucky to find our gorilla family after only about an hour of trekking through the jungle. Spending an hour with these gentle giants was truly the absolute highlight of our trip.

In Lake Mburo National Park, we enjoyed a walking safari among giraffes. Being so close to these graceful animals that you could almost touch them was just magical.

Next, we visited the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and even on our way to the lodge we spotted our first rhinos! The tracking experience was incredible – we found a mother with three young ones, and soon after, a massive bull joined them. A rare and lucky sighting for us!

Finally, we traveled to Murchison Falls National Park. The boat safari on the Nile was spectacular – we saw elephants, hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, and countless bird species. The grand finale was reaching the mighty Murchison Falls, where the Nile crashes through a narrow six-meter gap – an awe-inspiring sight! During our game drive, we saw many more animals and even spotted a leopard napping in the trees.

This trip was the adventure of a lifetime – full of wildlife, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable moments. Thank you, Bosco, for making it all possible!

My husband and I booked a 10-day tour with Enchanted Uganda Safaris in August this year. After initially choosing Uganda for the gorillas, we weren't too sure what else to expect but were so glad we decided to stay for longer. Uganda was amazing, with a mix of different biomes, animals and scenery.
Our tour guide, Bosco, was great company and flexible with the itinerary. He even booked a last minute trip to Mabamba Swamp a few hours before our outbound flight so I could fulfil my wish to see a shoebill stork (and yes, I got to see one!). From the rhino sanctuary, to the Kazinga Channel, to the chimpanzees, game drives and the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, we couldn't get enough. On top of that, we always had a warm lunch and the lodges we stayed in were stunning. Dinner next to a tree full of red colobus monkeys was definitely a highlight! We can't wait to come back and eat some delicious pineapples with you (and maybe jackfruit too, haha). Thanks Bosco and Enchanted!!

I totally loved this place and kept coming back.
The location is perfect - it’s up on a hill with a great view, 10 min walk to the Acacia Mall, the area with restaurants, coffee shops. The hostel is very clean, the rooms are spacious, the common areas are amazing! Everything is just so comfortable, the staff are super welcoming.
I loved the breakfast served every morning - they actually cook everything there in the hostel, even the samosas were home made! And what I miss the most about this place? Gustavo and Simba! 🐾♥️

Came in the night thought I would remember how to get to the town better, got lost but retrieved. ☺️ Very good accomodations loved underground huts, very nice. Next time we come in bulk, Would love to have the dome. Had my best 2days, and you made me felt at home.🏡❤️

It's a cool place and some of the staff members were very friendly and helpful.
We write this review based on one of the staff member's behaviour, we don't know if it's just him who has anger issues or his attitude reflects the whole place.
We booked a Deluxe King Room. We were allowed to check in at 12:00, and we were told that our room is not in the hostel but in the annex. We asked to first check the room before paying. The room was not too clean (there was some tomato sauce in the floor and the bed sheet looked quite worn down), we didn't see the toilet because it was locked, but the annex was seemingly the accomodation of the staff (we met someone in a towel who was at the reception in the morning). We didn't say anything negative yet because the main building of the hostel is cool, we could just hang out there during the day and sleep in the annex.
We got however frustrated when it was about paying. Paying by card is an extra 3.5% which we can understand, however paying with cash would mean an extra 10.000 for 2 nights which is about 7% extra than what we saw as a price on booking.com. The answer was that they have a special exchange rate that we should accept (we stayed in 7 different places in Uganda before where they all used the standard exchange rate). This was the point when we told the staff member that we don't think it's fair to pay more for a room that is not even in the hostel (and not so clean), and we are thinking not to stay here if we can't pay what booking.com shows.
He got crazy angry and shouting at us that he gave our room to someone else already (in 2 mins???) and we should cancel our booking immediately.
We asked him whether we can we cancel for free, but he said "it will depend on our manners." We told him that he is the one who wants to kick us out from the accomodation so at least he should promise it would not cost us extra money to cancel. He started to shout that we need to cancel the (used the f word) booking. I tried to cancel, but didn't manage (because I was under shock), so I asked him to help how to do it, but he said he won't help me, he was just screaming and swearing continiously at us. It was quite scary and we had a very tyring day so I started to cry, but he just got even angrier because of that.
Honestly we never met a this rude person   in 9 months traveling in 30 African countries. We are super surprised how someone working in hospitality could act like this (only because we found their exchange rate not fair, we don't think we did anything worse other than saying we consider not staying here).
I dont want to write the receptionists' name in public, but happy to send it to the management, hopefully they will do some measurments so that this kind of behaviour won't happen again.

I spent the past two weeks at Acacia Villa, and the only downside is that I didn’t have more time to stay, The place is lovely, the staff are incredibly friendly, a special shoutout to John:). Highly recommend

They have amazing customer service. Really kind and helpful staff. The place is pretty chilled and you know when night comes you will surely sleep. With a silent hours rule from 10pm till 8am rest is guaranteed. Their breakfast, amazing complements to the chef.

Kevin was very responsive and flexible to adapt to me needs both in itinerary and budget. When the trip started Faisal (working for Kevin) pick me (also very punctual) up and for two days we visited different places of Uganda. Faisal was also a very good driver (important in Uganda) and very flexible to adapt to my needs throughout the whole trip. If what you are looking for is a personalised trip able to move at your paste and see what you want, with nice company and services, and ata good price, this is your agency. They also offer all type of options and trips. Strongly recommend it.

I recently went on a wonderful trip to Dubai organised by Havy Tours. They planned many activities for us, but also gave us time to relax, so it didn’t feel like a work trip.
