Mezo Noir

Mezo Noir (@mezo_noir) is a chic spot in Kabojja, Kampala, offering cozy dining with a modern ambiance.

My friends and I had an amazing time at Mezo. The service was a bit slow but it’s understandable as we went in on a busy night but the waitress was amazing. The Dj had us dancing all night and their pizza was delicious. Definitely recommend

Overall the place is great, music is awesome, and it is serene with the atmosphere. If you want to sit in a great spot, reserve a spot as early as possible or get there early. The main bar gets crowded so early and you get to sit at the lower level. However, if you are looking at a place with lots of fun and interesting, I wouldn’t recommend this. It was really good in 2023 but not anymore…It now has heavy competitors for a weekend getaway.

I had a birthday dinner on a Sunday evening at mezo. This place has amazing service, very beautiful and welcoming staff members. We loooooved the food 😋 and concluded that the chef makes this food with a happy soul.  Credit goes to the proprietors of Mezo Noir because they have done a wonderful job! FYI, the atmosphere is so calm that if you're a loud mouth, it would be uncomfortable in designated areas. We renamed it to Mezo mwah😘 (a brief explanation for the second pic)

The restaurant is located in a secluded part of the area. Parking for approximately 10 cars. The kitchen is separated from the main restaurant hall. The interior is quite rich, with beautiful plates and cutlery.  I really liked the signature cocktails. With food, everything is not so clear: the hummus was too thick and did not have a delicate consistency. But the biggest problems were with the steak.  The steak (UGX 105,000) was large, but had a ton of veins, was horribly over-salted and was well-done instead of being medium as I have ordered. It is inappropriate to serve such a spoiled dish in an establishment of this level. The burger from the kids menu was tough too. In general, it is fashionable to recommend a restaurant for a romantic dinner, but it is not a guarantee that you will like all the dishes.

We came here on a Friday night around 8:30 pm and we were able to get a table at the bar without reservations. The restaurant also had open tables. Service was better than any other place I have been in Kampala and the food was extremely good. The best part was the atmosphere, it’s a real enjoyable place.

Asian Fusion Restaurant

Asian Fusion restaurant is one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve been to in Uganda! The restaurant has a serene and inviting atmosphere. Lush greenery drapes from the walls, complemented by soft, warm lighting that creates a cozy ambiance. The small statues of meditating figures add a touch of charm and tranquility. It’s a beautifully designed space that’s perfect for a relaxing meal and offers plenty of photo-worthy moments.

This was my first time at Asian Fusion restaurant and it also happens to be Kampala restaurant week. Loved the atmosphere, it feels like you’re in a garden 😊 the food was okay…a little underwhelming coz it wasn’t spicy enough. We ordered the Thai-style Chicken Wings and Crispy Battered Chicken Lollipops for starters and the main: Mongolian beef with steamed rice and butter chicken with garlic naan and butter naan.nnHopefully we’ll have a better experience next time and enjoy the food.

It was an overall good experience enjoyed my meal and had a recieved good service from the staff

Restaurant in the fireway hotel. Very green place, so many trees are inside there. Food is  delicious, portions are big. Samosas and Korean sticky chicken were brilliant. Good music vibe. Could recommend this place especially if you are looking for some romantic one.

Amazing food, awesome ambiance, best service.. totally Indian restaurant.. must visit if you are from India..

Oh, what a very, very wonderful place. You can see all of Kampala from there. The nicest people there. I ate the burger, it was more than wonderful, the desserts were beautiful, and the cold and hot coffee was more than wonderful. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in Kampala.I will go there to enjoy the food with the scenic view. I am really happy to know this place

Very good view top of the hill. Beautiful space and Good food. But remember to carry a sweater if you plan to seat up on the rooftop coz it gets COLD.

Beautiful place..the aesthetics are good ..loved the art. The food was great I'd one of my best pizzas from there that i had to try two differentkinds of pizza. The night views are lovely too .nHowever the service was a little slow i recommend they could add more staff because sometimes your order is forgotten or you've to keep reminding them about your order. I ordered for my coffee three times to finally get one almost an hour later.

What an amazing place, 3 3-floor restaurants and, an upper-floor bar. With the best views of the city, you can find, it's perfect.

Lovely view and atmosphere. Great location. I had the meze platter and it was really tasty. I also had a mint lemonade, which was good but sadly came with a plastic straw. If the owner is reading this, please only give straws if a customer asks, and help reduce plastic waste.

Had dinner at this restaurant whilst on a business trip in Uganda. Wow, everything was great. The atmosphere and layout was stunning. The waiters and service we experienced was impeccable.nnAs for the food, well that was a complete different story. The food was at another level. Hats off to their chefs as they sure know what they are doing. I had the full grilled tilapia and my colleague had the pan fried goat. And the side of plantain, well all I can say is, have it. Both dishes were worthy of being on any of the best restaurants globally.nnWould I recommend a meal there? Without a doubt - YES!!!
